Acknowledgment of Risks and Releases of Liability:

Although high pressure is not used on residential/commercial siding or concrete damage can still occur due to poor maintenance, neglect to the property, and/or low grade building materials. CPW is not responsible for water intrusion. While every effort is made to prevent this from happening, bad seals around windows or wood windows, doors, & cracks in concrete foundations can make this unavoidable. CPW assumes all windows, doors, electronic locks/doorbell, and security cameras are securely sealed/closed, And Are waterproof Components although CPW does suggest that you cover all security cameras and/ or doorbell cameras we are not responsible for electronics. Should water and/or cleaning solution enter the building, it is due to a faulty or neglected seals or weatherstripping. Our low pressure wash process will not blow out seals but the volume of water used in the process may expose air gaps in the building envelope. We are not responsible for the damage of items caused by this issue. Double pane windows have intact thermal seals. If moisture remains between the two panes of glass, our wash process did not cause the compromised seals but rather exposed a pre-existing condition. CPW is not responsible for the rare “fogging” effect that happens to multi pane windows with bad seals. Carolina Power Wash, LLC shall have sole option of repairing or contracting repair work to correcting any structural damages that are a direct result of the Company. The Client agrees to release the Company of any or all liability for injuries sustained by the Client due to equipment placement to include injuries from tripping/falling, striking equipment, falling debris, chemical overspray or equipment failure. CPW suggests the client utilize their property’s breaker box to shut off power to any and all exterior outlets, light fixtures, or any other electrically powered features. This is especially important to outlets that are not covered with exterior covers. Electrical outlets and fixtures are wired to code, grounded properly, and GFCI protected. Outdoor outlets must have intact gaskets to seal off the wiring or have intact caulking. Should water get inside the outlet, the water can create a short. If there is a short, the circuit breaker may keep tripping and the outlet needs several days to dry out before working properly again. A short may trip a GFCI on the inside of the home that needs to be reset for the circuit to function again. A short with a faulty GFCI may ruin the outlet and the outlet will need to be replaced with a new GFCI outlet. CPW is not responsible for the repairs associated with the aforementioned circumstances. Also, removing or opening any window screens will allow the Company to thoroughly clean windowsills. Removal of these screens will also allow for even distribution of detergent and streak-free drying. It is also vital to the preservation of the client’s property that they notify the Company of any surfaces that cannot be cleaned with high alkaline or acidotic detergents. CPW is not responsible for damage to personal property (potted plants, mats, cloth cushions, decorations, furniture, or electronics) not removed by tenants/residents/property manager in advance of our work.
